Hiding in the underbrush, Devon watched as the guard slowly paced past his hiding place. Checking his watch he noted that he has about 3 minutes between passes. That probably means that if he takes this guard out, that he would only have about half that time before noticed him missing, maybe another three minutes before someone sounded an alarm.
He only needed about ten minutes to get in, set the charges and get out. That looks like about 5 1/2 minutes too long. The only other alternative will be to take out all three guards before going in.
Devon knew that the charges HAD to be placed tonight. The cartel was working around the clock to get enough drugs ready for shipment in just two days. If they do not manage to deliver the goods, they will loose the trust of the mob. Destroying the coke is just a side benefit in this one.
Devon watched as the sentry approached his position. He waited until the sentry passed and then quickly ran up behind him. Grabbing the man by the jaw he twisted his head sharply to the left. The stunned guard reached up to grab Devon's hands and try to break free from the death dealing grip. Failing to hear the crunch of breaking bones, Devon quickly tried to regain his grip on the man's chin and tried again.
A muffled exclamation escaped from the sentry as Devon clasped his hand firmly over his mouth. Taking a firm hold on the man's left shoulder with his right hand, he pulled the man's jaw sharply to the left. Reaching the end of the natural range of twist, the man's neck held briefly as he groaned with pain. Suddenly, with a loud pop, the man's head twisted nearly completely backwards. His legs and arms jerked convulsively. Devon looked into the man's eyes as they lost their focus. The guard's body, now just dead weight, collapsed limply at his feet. Grabbing it by the arms, Devon quickly dragged the body into the underbrush where he had been hiding. The man's head dangled grotesquely from the broken neck.
Working quickly, Devon pulled off his clothes and undressed the body. Slipping on the shirt, he was pleased to see that it fit. The pants fit a little tighter than he would have liked, but they did fit. Strapping on the gun belt with the holster and knife attached, he now looked, at least in this light, like the slain guard - if you didn't get too close.
Hurrying out onto the path, he quickly walked around the to the guard house. Just in time. The other guard had just rounded the other turn and was walking toward him.
Pretending to notice something on the ground, Devon stood looking down, then he motioned for the other guard to come and look. Still staring at the ground, he watched as the other guard walked up to his side.
"What have you got Frank?" he asked, looking at the ground.
"Just this." Devon said. The guard looked up, startled. "You're not Frank - Unnnggghhh!"
Grabbing his tortured navel, the guards hands surrounded Devon's hand still holding the handle of the knife. Devon pulled the blade out of his body. Warm blood flowed freely from the slit. As he started to thrust the blade again, the terrified sentry pushed against his hand. "No, PLEASE, NO!" he said, backing up.
Reaching for his fleeing prey, Devon grabbed the sentry's belt with his left hand, held tight, and pulled on the belt as he thrust with the knife. The blade found it's mark in the young guard's solar plexus.
"Gaaahhhhh!" he gasped, pulling back again.
Devon grabbed the handle of the guard's knife in it's sheath on the young man's belt and removed it. No longer pulling against Devon's hand, the guard stumbled and fell to the ground.
"Help me." He called hoarsely.
Quickly kneeling next to the guard's side, Devon plunged the guard's own knife to the hilt in the man's chest piercing his heart.
"Unnnh." He gasped, now clutching the second knife. His muscles tightened. He grimaced with pain then fell limp, hands falling to his sides. His last gasped breath gurgled in his throat. Grabbing him by the arms Devon dragged him back out of sight. Removing his knife from the man's chest, Devon wiped it on his victim's sleeve, he sheathed the weapon and hurried toward the next guard's position.
As he approached the next guard's area, he could see him nearing the far end of his path. As he watched, he slipped around behind a small truck parked near the fence. Dropping down, he watched the guard approach him from his vantage point under the truck.
As the sentry passed the truck, Devon hurried around and grabbed the hapless young man from behind. Cupping his hand over his mouth he plunged the knife into the center of his chest.
"Unfff." The guard gasped, struggling against Devon's vice-like grip. The knife felt cold inside him. His arms suddenly ached, his shoulder hurt, his fingers started going numb.
Realizing that he was stabbed, he reached for the handle. He was shocked at the pain he felt as he tried to move it. Feeling his sex beginning to arouse, he began to feel the strange sensations growing with it. Strange, wild fantasies flashed through his mind. Steeling himself against the pain he yanked the blade from his chest. A wild rush of pain washed through him. His sex erupted filling his briefs with thick, hot fluid as a crimson river of blood flowed from his chest, down his abdomen soaking through his shirt and flowing over his pants. As he tried to breathe through his attacker's hand, air sucked in through the hole in his chest.. Blood poured into his lungs. He tried to cough. Blood and air bubbled from the hole in his chest. The blessed numbness started rushing inward from his extremities. His hands and feet first, then his legs and arms, - shoulders - creeping up his neck, his scalp felt cold and prickly. The wild passion in his sex was now spent and he went limp - arms, legs, everything.
Devon felt him drift away as his body went limp in his arms. Dragging him behind the truck he retrieved his knife and hurried back to get his bag with the explosives.
Still a lot to do.
